Opportunities in EU Countries

At present, EU imports from Myanmar are dominated by clothing and agricultural products – whilst EU exports to Myanmar are dominated by machinery and transport equipments. The current level of total trade between Myanmar and the EU is only €300m. Meantime the EU trades between €8b – €45b with other South East Asia countries. Clearly, there is a huge opportunity to grow the trade between Myanmar and the EU Member States.
